As part of the implementation of the strategy, various events have been held to help bring people together and to share information. The benefits of these events has been to introduce the strategy to a wider range of people, to inform those involved in the WRS on other aspects of the strategy, and to pull together specific groups of people to focus their attention on regional matters.
Types of events we have held include WRS Summits, Open Spaces Forums, WRS Projects Forums and a national Urban Design Summit.
