As part of the Open Spaces work, we hold regular (6 monthly) forums to discuss the planning, development, maintenance and marketing of various open space initiatives across the region.
These events bring together open space practitioners, managers, consultants, and rangers from across the region who work in areas such as managing the council’s parks and reserves, sports activities and facilities. The main aim of the Open Spaces Forums are to act as an information sharing session to share resources and best practices across the region.
These forums have been very popular with a large number of attendees and varying speakers.
